Hydrangeas Blooming in the Season of Cherry Blossoms

It was a spring day with cherry blossoms in full bloom,

but then the rain began to fall, turning the world into a quiet shade of gray.

Amidst the scattered petals, I found a surprise.

There, in the middle of spring, a hydrangea was blooming beautifully.

It wasn’t a flower from the earth, but a purple umbrella—

a small gift left by someone to protect a tiny friend from the rain.

It’s a gentle reminder that even on the grayest days, there is always a place of warmth and kindness.

After the Spring Rain.

A quiet morning after the rain. 

A carpet of sakura petals. 

A solitary cat sitting in the stillness. 

The world felt so calm and beautiful at that very moment.

前回の記事でお伝えしましたが
今年も大阪で仲間と写真展を開催します。

SNSとかで写真を見ていただく事ももちろん嬉しいですが
写真展で展示作品を見て頂けて

感想だったりアドバイスだったりを直に聞くことが出来るのは
ライブ会場ならではですよね。

前にも書いたかもしれないけど
仲間がいてくれる事って
当たり前じゃ無いんですよね。
会えばダメ出ししかされないし
褒められた記憶もないけど

僕は本当に感謝してるんですよね。

面と向かっては言わないけどねw

Building on last year’s experience,
I’m bringing a larger collection of my work to the gallery this time. 

I’ve put a lot of thought into the display to make it a space you’ll love.

A single petal blooming on the ground / RICOH GRIII

Morning came, and the soft, gentle light of a rainy day began to filter down.

The world, dampened and still, felt quieter and more peaceful than usual.

Looking up, the cherry blossoms seemed to dissolve into the pale grey sky.

But what brought a warm glow to my heart

wasn't the canopy above, but a single "flower" blooming on the ground.

On the deep-toned stone steps, soaked by the rain,

there was a pink umbrella—vibrant, yet gentle in its presence.

Bathed in the soft light filtering through the clouds,

it looked as if a single, giant petal

had drifted down from the heavens to rest upon the earth.

A quiet act of kindness, reaching out to a small life in the rain.

As the morning light embraced the scene,

the cold stone seemed to take on the warm breath of spring.

"A rainy day isn't so bad after all."

The soft cherry pink seemed to carry the echo of that gentle whisper.

While the trees in full bloom were breathtaking,

it was this "single flower" blooming in the soft rain light

that made my morning truly precious.

4月。
今年も桜の季節がやってきました。
50歳を過ぎたあたりから

後何回、桜を見ることが出来るのかを意識しています。

先日受けた健康診断の結果が良くなく
人生で初めて大腸の内視鏡検査を受けました。
ポリープがひとつ見つかり切除。

大腸の内視鏡検査って
思っていたよりも苦痛じゃ無いです。
麻酔の効果もあるのかもしれないけど
あっという間に終わりましたよ。
僕の周りも検査を受けたことが無い人ばかりなので
50も後半のこのタイミングでの検査を勧めています（笑）

言葉は通じなくても、

微笑みひとつで心は通じ合える。

ここのところ

海外からの旅行者が増えてきた気がする。

北九州を楽しんで頂けたら嬉しいな。

ふと考える

県外の友人から

「遊びに行くよ！」と連絡あったとしたら
どこを案内するか？
絶対に連れて行きたいお気に入りの場所はたくさんあるから
せめて2泊はお願いしたいな。
